Yeah debating on pulleying down to a 3.55 right now. I ordered it and its going to happen just not sure if its in the budget for right this moment or if I should just be happy with 720rwhp for the season which loosely translates to 813rwhp on a typical dynojet.

The filter is definitely restrictive and will need to find a fix for that. Also going to pulley down to a 3.55 and just barely over spin. Tuner said we could possibly be in the 900 range if we spin it. Broke the MAF on the last pull so will need to replace that tomorrow.
How did the MAF break?

That was my question as well, apparently it was reading way out of wack, when he went to inspect discovered the charge tube from the blower to the intercooler had partially come off. He put it back on and tightened it up and everything was fine. So no broken MAF. Went ahead and ordered the smaller pulley yesterday, got delivered this morning, and I am going to drop it off after work tomorrow. Super stoked.

Got my final numbers in today, found out that I need larger headers my 1/34 are causing a restriction, hence limiting my max RPM. @ 5800 I am making 847 / 780 with the filter off. 752/708 with the filter on. Still need to address those two issues but a little disappointed. Can't believe I lose almost 100 HP with the filter on.

How is the shop suggesting to fix the filter choke flow issue? 100 hp to give up because of air flow restrictions is a lot of cheap power you are missing out on. The bigger headers may make a difference but it is not the main issue since pulling the filter gives you an additional 100 hp with the current headers you have on the car. Just saying.

I contacted the shop you go to about making me a copy of your intake tube, I will just use a 4 inch to 3.75 inch (F1A) silicone reducer and order a slightly different K&N filter if they end up being willing to do it for me. The lady that answered the phone said she would talk to the fabricator and get back with me. I mentioned seeing it on your car, 100hp on the table is alot to leave, so is 1k RPM due to exhaust bottleneck.

Just realize that my intake tube was custom made on the spot by the guy installing my F-1X as part of the overall build, which was quite extensive. Asking the shop to "make me one like his" is not their bread and butter because they are so busy that work gets scheduled weeks ahead. That said, I have encouraged them to help you so we will see how it goes.

Not going to be my daily but I do plan on driving it often I have no problem pulling the filter at the track. Planning on a new / larger intake tube & filter. Need to get larger headers as well as they are limiting my max rpm.
