Question for tuners
I was just wondering if there would be an advantage running the Lsx 376 which has a compression ratio of 9.0 over the standard LS3's 10.7?
Would giving up that 1.7 point of compression be made up for and possibly exceeded with a more aggressive tune? Now I do realize that the Lsx 376's are designed with forced induction in mind, however I am talking about going NA. Maybe go FI at a later date. Thanks in advance.

Thank you for your reply Steve. On the question I was assuming all things being equal between both engines. Still running 91 in the lower compression engine. While Ive got you on the line, my car has been dyno tuned which means that I do not have the stock file anymore. Will your tune overwrite the tune with HP tuners, which is what they used. Their tune seems good, but there are some things that they didn't do which I don't like. Fan settings were left stock & I wanted them to raise the idle to 700. They were unwilling to go higher than 650. So if I was to go with your tune would it accommodate my wishes? thank you very much for your time.
