Happens a lot in my neighborhood. I make a point to skip 2nd and get into 3rd ASAP out of my driveway and I'm usually going UNDER the speed limit. Prob just the fact that you can hear the car makes people think I'm speeding. Next time, maybe I'll hit 4500 in 1st as I go by so they have some comparison

I see soccer moms driving 45 through grocery store parking lots. I drive at or below on residential streets, but then have some idiot in a mini van almost burning up a transmission to pass me when they get a chance. Just the other day some crazy women in a truck passed me on the left sideways smoking the tires. Most people are just in too much of a darn hurry.

But for some reason we are singled out by the cops that ignore the mini van doing 20 over.

i do pizza delivery and when I have the car topper on people constantly call in to let my manager know im "speeding" which is really ridiculous... cause im the most careful guy out there when it comes to my car

one of my neighbors up the street was wasted and bitched at me for driving too fast in the neighborhood, the very first weekend I moved into my house. I was pissed off because a: I go well under 25 on my street, and b: because he claimed his kids could have been run over. AT MIDNIGHT.

Why his kids are up at midnight/1am is beyond me. Parent of the year award there.

Regardless, I think it's because my car is on the loud side as well. They've never said anything since.
