What is sport mode?

I know that "D" is drive, and that Paddleshifters are, well, paddleshifters...
But, what is the Sport mode when you drop it into M???

from what i understand, that's where you use the paddle shifters to tell the car what gear it's gonna use...

unless you're talking about the more relaxed traction/stability control setting

It is a more aggresive progamming of the tranny to keep the car in gear longer if you are getting on it.

Sport Mode is the mental and logistical things you have to go through just before football season starts. Like making sure you have your 'Game Day' or 'Sunday Ticket' packages in order. And spending that extra time with the wife to make up for the time you'll spend concentrating on the games and scenarios. Then, tactfully, making her aware of the upcoming campaign.

For example, "Honey? Is there anything you want to talk about before football season starts?"

Sport Mode should not be confused with 'Playoff Mode' which doesn't require special subscriptions or anything but is a more 'cerebral' preperation. It requires a more solid and stern plan of attack.

For example, "Hey, find something to do for a few weeks, I need some space".

Hope this cleared it up for you. Sport Mode is a feature I've had since I was a small boy. It's easy to use but may require some practice.

CAUTION; DO NOT use Sport Mode if you are in a brand new relationship. Sport Mode requires a break in period. Low RPM and slower speeds.

Disclaimer:
Sport Mode not compatible with all models. Use sport mode at your own risk.

I LOVE SPORT MODE! I was on the road course Saturday and I just left it in Sport mode rather than using the paddle shifters... Sport mode worked great!

I drive in Sport Mode all the time. I assume it means I'm getting less mpgs, but I can live with that. I use the paddle shifters on the highway.

So how would one handle 'Super Bowl Mode' or BCS Mode'?
