Z28 Convertible

Hello everyone! It's my first post here. I've read that the Camaro convertible is coming out in 2011 and the Z28 in 2012, but I have yet to see anything about the release of a convertible Z28. Any word if one will be produced?

No idea. But I can't really think of a good reason why it couldn't be done.

I can. It will be like 4500 pounds by the time they reinforce it enough to handle all that extra horsepower.

Just my feelings

Well, if Chevy doesn't make one, then I guess one of the best options would be to bring an SS convertible to Lingenfelter for there 650 HP treatment.

It would be a shame if Chevy can't pull of a Z28 convertible since Ford seems to have had no problems with their GT500 convertible in the same HP range. Maybe that very fact will give them some incentive to actually do it?

I don't think it will be to hard to do some kind of Z28 convert. The engineering that can be done can make a car handle just about anything. I am waiting for the convert but if GM chooses to add big HP to it I would buy it!

Lets let GM announce the Z28 first. Then we'll worry about a convertible. Plus what makes you think they aren't testing one now as we speak.
