I take it you haven't taken delivery of your car yet. Should I start berating you for wasting your money on a 2SS just to make your car less pure? Or wanting "full digital" is somehow acceptable from a purity standpoint? Or is it OK for you to be hypocritical on your own terms?

I never understood the logic behind the bashing of the best feature of this car (rev match).
If you don't like it, simply don't use it. It's disabled by default so no need for "delete". I think it's another way of saying "hey look, I can heel&toe but you can't" one thing for sure, too much ego hinders the progression

Not yet. This week.
Ideally it would have arrived mid/late March but it was built much sooner than I anticipated. As soon as I get it I'll take it to get the paint corrected and then protected. Unfortunately it will go straight to the garage and under a cover until Toronto warms up. I've got a road trip planned to Norfolk via Kentucky so I'm looking at visiting some tracks along the way. asking"Rev Match delete" and simply telling others "learn how to heel and toe" is nonsense .. why do you automatically assume that you can heel toe and others cannot? as rootus mentioned, it's pretty transparent if you're 100% accurate on your blip/throttle during down shift (trust me you're not as good as the rev match system ) , that's totally fine so it barely helps and never gets in your way..you sound like that feature is an annoyance and it's on by default like some unwanted nannies..it's simply not oh an btw, Car already comes with "Rev Match delete" as standard.. nobody puts a gun on your head and make you activate the rev match and de-activate again, that would be silly

GM's REV-match feature is actually not intrusive at all. There's no reason for hate:
Due to these reasons above, it is actually a perfect safety system. If you ever miss your blip for one reason or another (e.g. during mis-shift, your natural rythm for heel-and-toe will be interrupted), you will be assured that your rear tires will not be locked up. Looking at it from this point of view, I agree that it is one of the best systems that come with these cars : )

Oh, End User, I just realized that you must have either just received your car, or perhaps it's not yet delivered to you (TPW 2/18/18?).
Give it (REV-match) a chance/shot at the track if you plan to use your car at the track, and let us know how you think. I honestly had more reservations against the feature, too, before I started using it with my C7 Z51. Congrats on the new car!!!!

Does adding a "Skip-Shift" eliminator circuit harm (or adversely effect) the Rev-Match feature in any way? Or is it a different circuit?

Dude, we get it. You can heel-toe. What is the point of bashing everyone that can't/prefer not to?

Beyond that, it doesn't interfere with the driver, but it rather augments to make it perfect, every time. In other words, it is still beneficial, even you do blip the throttle yourself during down-shifts.

Even when you plan to go from 4th to 3rd but instead change your plan mid-shift and go right to 2nd. The rev-match loves it and instantly matches. It's good.
