How many Pre-production Camaros sold?
How many pre-production models were sold? I've got a friend that his vin is 9000451.

There are a bunch out there on used car lots. GM made them ready for sale and auctioned them at dealer auction. Sad thing is a majority of the people buying them don't have a clue they have a low vin#.

Back when I was maintaining a list (May 2009), I had found 37 Camaros with VINS < 100000. This list is surely incomplete.

Pre-production?
By definition if it was given a VIN it was production. #1 went to Rick Hendrick for $350K. If your are talking PRE-orders there were thousands, mine was #3026. There were several captive fleet cars used for testing that may have been given a production VIN but these wouldn't necessarily be low.

The cap test fleet ARE the Pre-production. Any 2010 Camaro that has the VIN# A90xxxxx are pre-production. Its the "0" that makes the difference. GangGreen
