I have brake squeaking, which I can live with. But... I also sometimes have rotational squeaking without brakes being applied! If im cruising down a highway next to a center divider I can hear it chirping/squeaking. If I rev the engine or drop out of gear it keeps going so its not the motor. Slight adjustments to the steering seem to change its pitch/make it go away. It seems to be extra bad when I have the wheel locked to one side backing into my driveway.

Is this the classic brembos just dragging a hair? Is this OK? As long as its not a bearing about to kill me I can live with it, I'll just use some greased up pads next time but if this is a sign of a big problem then...

The Brembos are notorious for squeeking. There are many threads on the subject.

Yeah, I found all the threads doing a search but wanted to make sure that its OK if it does it while just cruising along, and if its still the brakes if the steering wheel changes it?

I've always quieted brembos with permatex copper anti-seize compound (grease). If it can quiet the squeal from racing pads I'm sure it can fix street pads.

It's the pads dragging fyi and it's normal for them to drag a little.

So I guess when the wheel is turned the geometry just...changes and makes it better/worse?

Whew... I thought my wheel bearing(s) were going to fall apart or something lol
