2012 January 21- Cops 'n Cars for Kids @ Oviedo Mall - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Information on the next one has been distributed again. This is an annual car show that is held at the Oviedo Mall. It is hosted by the Oviedo- Winter Springs Optimist Club in corporation with the Oviedo Police Department and this year the Winter Springs Police Department joined along.

Public cars compete in public classes and the cop cars/helicopters that they bring out compete in some other classes. The show is from 10am-4pm and free to spectators.

I'm able to get us a $15 registration fee no matter how many people attend. If you wish to enter your car please PM me ASAP so I can get your registration form ASAP. Club payments are due by Dec. 31st.

Yea we will need to see if we can get both groups to park together

I'll get in touch with Lori again this year for CCCF and get the discount. I will also work with her to get a large section roped off for CCCF and the Camaro5 group since we should be bringing quite a few Camaro's out.

Absolutely!

sometimes myself can't stand myself...clearly I need to lay low and stop posting my views on LEO or LnL is just very good at extracting information. haha

But on a side note, when you are in/at a vehicle show or closed demonstration you may have strobing and colored lighting applications on your vehicle. I would just take them out of the windows when you leave.

That's news to me, I didn't know you were a cop. I knew the lights were legal at shows, but if I'm gonna stick them in there I'd like to pretend to pull over some people. It'd make a nice dinner story:

"Hunny I got pulled over by a Camaro today....he wasn't a real cop though"
