Is anyone else less than impressed with the traction provided by PZero's?

When replacement time comes, I will not be going back with them.

they do ok . but better out there. i like them for a st tire. i can pull 1.8's with them in a m6 pretty consistant.

It depends on the power level, driving style, road conditions, weather, etc. I have no complaints. I've managed some 1.6's on the Pirelli's.

Look at TireRacks spec page for the different Pirelli P zero tires and you will see that the ones selected for our cars are the worst of the batch. The 275-40-20 tire weighs 35lbs whereas the others weigh 30lbs or just a bit more. Also the SS Pirellis cost less they are actually the crap of the crop from Pirelli. The 295-35-20 I bought from another member on here actually provided more grip in dry than the Nitto NT05 and even feels gripper than the BF Goodrich Gforce Rival I have on, notice I said feels. I had way more cornering confidence with that Pirelli than any tire I ever had on the rear of my car. On wet forget it all Pirellis suck in wet.

P zero's worked fine until i supercharged, now they are all over the place when i floor it.

Mine get really sticky once they're warm. I don't really have any complaints when it comes to them.

P-Zeros are actually pretty good tires in warm weather conditions. They suck in cold weather like most summer tires.

For a street tire, If you have the money get some Michelin Sports. They are great tires.

If you're into drag racing, go with some drag radials (NT555R).

I've read about these Michelin Pilot Super Sports, and everyone raves about them. However, I noticed they don't come in the exact size as the SS rims. Is it ok to put a slightly different size tire on the stock SS rims?

PZeros are a solid rated Max Performance tire. They are actually solid in terms of dry and wet performance. Most cars do not come with a tire so good from the factory.
