Thankyou!

Thank you to every one for their help over the past couple years on this forum. You guys are the best community a car guy could ask for.

I've traded in the "old" girl and moved into a new Gen6. Obviously Will still be on these forums, but wanted to make sure I conveyed my gratitude for all the help I received on my 5th gen.

Here's the last shot of my Gen 5 before I drove away.

Take it easy.

Its a half past 4 and Im shifting gear.
Get your motor running heading on the highway.
Its a highway song you sing it on and on.
Ive paid my dues time after time.
Thats all I gotta say. Later

Its funny how the gen 5 holds its own (and in my opinion looks better) against the brand new model. However, that interior and performance in the gen 6 is no joke. Enjoy.

I was looking at the picture and asking myself, "which of these two cars would you drive away in?"

5th Gen all the way!

PS. But I know the OP bought a better PERFORMING car.

Have not driven one yet but think they look amazing in person, GEN6 brings in another MT Car Of The Year Award for Camaro, congratulations on the upgrade. Last week one was in front of me at a traffic light. The light turned green and he took off like a rocket. My windows were down and heard his tires break loose again at about 25 mph. 455 hp, 455 lb-ft of torque and 200 lbs lighter brings it up to near the Z28 times in zero to 60 and 1/4 mile.
Are you going to put any stripes on this one?
Ron

Oh hell yea I'm going to stripe it ! It's defiantly my thing! Was considering the Sema concept stripes they had on the white 6th gen shown before launch. It looks really good. The dealer also agreed to paint my wheels black if I want, I have a pending credit at the body shop. Going to wrap the tail black , look into a billet gas cover , already miss the one on my 5th gen

Sema concept gen 6

Yea, the interior is fracking sweet... During my test drive to which I as alone , I didn't pay as much attention as I was listening for any potential issues and enjoying the way it drove. This morning I went on a cruise , turned on the seat coolers and instantly slunk down in those comphey leather seats and grinned ear to ear. The interior is definately "no joke" the car when driving it reminded me of my Vette , but more comfortable

Congratulations! Simply because it's not what I prefer, doesn't mean it's not a good looking car.
One observation though, the 5th generation rearview mirrors sure look sleek by comparison.

I like it, then I don't... then I like it again... then I don't. I'm gonna buy one, but I'm gonna wait about 5 years. Plus I need a convertible... which will complicate the matter. Then I don't like it, but then like it again.

Cooled seats are cool, had those in my Lincoln. Didn't know the Camao was getting so fancy!

YES! Do those concept stripes! That is really cool and makes the car look less like a Stormtrooper.
