E-brake light won't turn off

Started about a week ago - heard a chime while driving and glanced at dash and saw BRAKE! warning - not the DIC warning when it's engaged and you're trying to drive - the one on the tach in red. It is definitely not engaged and has done it more and more randomly. No way to intentionally repeat it. Had dealership read OBD and it said low fluid. Topped it off with fluid, which did not resolve the issue. Brakes performing as normal. Sensor, maybe?

Manual says that "BRAKE" warning is parking brake or braking system failure. If dealer didn't find anything wrong, maybe park brake switch issue as you mentioned.

Yessir - thanks for the reply. Both the brakes and e-brake operate normally. Vexing.

Did you pay extra for an emergency brake?

My Camaro only came with a parking brake.
Pull that up at 25 MPH and an old man walking with a cane will pass you before you stop.
