When you do the fuel rail flip, get a C5 Vette braided fuel feed line . It is what I used to connect my fuel "in" on the rail and the fuel "out" from the firewall lines coming from the tank, plus it looks real nice and clean.

The c5 line is actually long enough? I thought I read it was too short?

Yep, worked for me, just had to "pop" the line from the tank feed out of the bracket on the firewall and pull it a tad.. No issues... There is enough play in it.

It is long enough. That is what I used before I installed my supercharger and had to install a pressure gauge. I think I listed it for sale on here. Canít remember for sure though.

And I still have mine hanging around here somewhere from when we installed the LOD manifold, but not sure where it is...

It’s just a dipstick since our cars don’t come with one. After installing mine I noticed my car was 3/4 a qt low on fluid. Plus it makes trans service easier when doing it yourself. The dipstick is like $60 or something and worth it.

Looking at the B&M one. They add 2 more qts plus fins and has a drain plug.

They aren’t cheap but it’s something you only buy once

And with your intake you don’t need the washer relocation kit and the apex scoop. Other than the root fab washer bottle looking nicer under the hood that mod is not worth it for you.

I have both on my list now. Did you go with the chrome or cast aluminum?

iDatalink maestro

I installed the iDatalink Maestro a few months ago. I thought I should provide some feedback on that in case anyone considering it. Awesome system! Was a bit challenging to install for an amateur, but doable. I got the Maestro system, RR module and compatible Pioneer DMH-W4600NEX, along with a back-up camera (2010 doesn't even have parking sensors). This installation took a good part of the weekend, but I was also very deliberate in laying everything out and going in the right order so I wouldn't have to do it twice (which is usually how it goes).

I elected to go with a control head that does not have CD. Mainly I wanted the extra room in the dash cavity for all the wiring harnesses, etc. Everything went really well and the functionality is amazing.

I use Android Auto and that works seamlessly. The OBD2 feed displays two pages of selectable on-board data streams. It'll clock your 0-60 as well as your 1/4 mile times. You have 4 programmable buttons that you program when you initially interface with the RR module via USB to your computer. I left the USB cord plugged into the RR so I can fish out and reprogram without taking everything apart. NOTE- If you go with the RR2, you can program the module via BluTooth evidently.

Also, just a technique, I installed the back-up camera and tapped into the license plate light power wire then grounded it in the trunk. Two things here- reminds me to turn on my halos during the day if I want to see the back-up cam displayed, and I can actually view it while driving if I want to. It tied in perfectly to the Pioneer system.

The fit and visual are almost a perfect match for the interior styling. I recommend this interface. Probably better control heads out there; this Pioneer is perfect for my needs and does everything I want it to do. Just make sure it is iDatalink Maestro compatible, not all are.

So my 3 Big upgrades that I planned have been completed (intake/exhaust, Cam and supporting mods, and chassis/suspension).

I'm happy with the power and performance of this daily driver (she's at 60k on the odometer). Great power for my needs (subsequent dyno came out at 475 rwhp), love the sound, and she handles just awesome now.

I'm not looking to make 700whp, not looking to go FI, not looking to change the exhaust from current config and I don't plan to lower it or convert to E85.

Really looking at making current configuration optimal and durable. That said, considering the following but would love to get some other recommendations from you guys; your recommendations have really helped out thus far!!!

- Oil Pump
- Fuel injectors
- Lower thermostat
- Exhaust header wraps
- Stronger starter
- 1LE wheels

Recommendations on the above or anything additional?

Thanks again to all of you that have helped and I hope documenting this is helpful for those who are setting out to do a build.
I know youre saying no fi, but look at my mods in my sig and im telling you a blower takes things to a whole other level of fun. 64k on mine and it is more fun than any of us should be allowed to have
