Bushings

installed bushings today, these things are awsome, much better than Hurst plastic bushings, no play smooth solid shifts.

Thanks Dave

I got the new bushings installed in mine this morning. They made a huge difference. The shifter feels so much better now.

today I installed the Hurstshift kit and I also bought the brass bushings or rather the upgraded bushings that were available from Phastek the teflon ones I thought were too soft so before I installed it I ordered the brass ones and have been fitted then i installed the shifter bushings ...40 dollars and they were well worth the money I have a zl1 and now the shifting is way better than before and it is really short and virtually no play and no vibration I'm very happy if anyone is interested I'm also selling the factory ZL1 shifter with a knob if anyone is interested

I don't understand how a shifter ball rattles. It's either on tight or it's loose and needs to be tightened against the jam nut,
