I know it's a stupid question but; Is the MM6 a synchromesh transmission? Thanks

Yes, there's a triple set on 1st and 2nd and a double on 3rd thru 6th.

edit: FYI, the mesh assembly pads are water soluble. If your car is a weekend toy and you reside in a humid climate, it wouldn't hurt to drop the tranny fluid once a year.
