Thumbs up HIT 5000 MILES TODAY ON MY 'ROCKETSHIP'!!!

After 5000 blissfully happy, exciting, ecstatic, driving miles on my 'ROCKETSHIP', I have to say "so far, so good"...

It has met and FAR EXCEEDED any expectations I had for this car going into the whole thing of ordering my car before they were ever built, before I had ever seen one, sat in one, or driven one...

I have no complaints AT ALL...of course the Camaro isn't 100% perfect, what in life is, but that being said, I wouldn't trade it for anything, not even a million $$$$....I would buy another one 'in a heartbeat' if I could...

I keep trying to talk my hubby into getting one for him as his daily driver....after all, we bought this Camaro for each other as an anniversary gift, but I get to be the luckiest person alive to be the daily driver, while he keeps it clean and shiny and drives it on weekends...

For me, every single day is like 'Christmas morning', and my Camaro is the 'happiest car' I have ever owned IN MY LIFE!!!...even though we have a '95 Corvette we bought used 4 yrs ago, and even though I thought my Firebird was the best car I had ever owned, UNTIL NOW!!!...

My brother keeps telling everyone that I didn't just buy a Camaro, I bought a 'whole new life' with the many friends I have made here on this forum, and the many friends from this forum that I have met in person at car meets...

I will say it yet again, "GM and everyone involved in building this 'dream called Camaro', has 'hit it out of the ballpark, home run, bases loaded, grand slam', PERIOD"!!!!!!!!...

I wish I could 'buy the world Camaros'....you know, like the Coca Cola commercial from way back where it said, "I'd like to buy the world a Coke"...well, 'I'd like to buy the world a Camaro'....WoooooHoooooo!!!!!...

It is SO worth the wait, trust me, you will forget about how long it took you to get it the second you get 'THE CALL', and the second you lay eyes on it and drive it....

I ordered mine 1/2/09, and picked it up 5/19/09...it felt like FOREVER at the time, and here I am at 9 months of ownership already, and I can't even imagine what I felt like before owning 'THE BEST CAR IN THE HISTORY OF THE UNIVERSE'!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!....

Oh I know, it is like the clock is ticking backwards.....

At least there is still 3 feet of snow here, so I couldn't drive her anyway. I am busy buying mods for it and will ahve a pile when it gets her about May 1st!

Mine was built May 1st last year!!!...good time of year to get the car, when the weather is nice and you can take it out and not worry about snow and ice, although it rained here in NY record amts last May, June, and July when I got mine...........

LOL, I would never trade mine in, it has so many sentimental things attached to it, with all the dates involved, and also I had the engine signed by the Fbodfather at Camaros at Carlisle last June...things that can't be replaced...

I just have to buy a 2nd one!!!...lol...(I wish )

Glad you're still putting the miles on it and enjoying every minute. I just hit 13,500 on the way home from work today.

That's cool. I've only ever been really attached to one car in my life and I wrecked it. Ever since I don't get too attached. Love to hear you are really enjoying your ride.

I also love going to Carlisle. I only live 35mins from there. Maybe I'll see you there this year.
