What do you pay for insurance?
So I'm in the middle of deciding on whether or not to go big for the SS. I want to but it might not be completely worth it for me. One major deciding factor will be how much more I have to pay for insurance. I'm curious... what do you pay for your insurance... Please list your trim and insurance cost.
Thanks. |

what you're asking will not help you, imo.
there's much more in the price of insurance than just trim of a car. best bet is to call up a few insurance companies and get quotes for your individual needs.

It depends on your age, driving record, tickets, and other things I'm sure.

I will but this will still give me a general idea of what most people pay. Really just looking for a ball park. My record is pretty perfect but am I still looking at $150 a month on insurance for an SS? Am I better off with a LS paying $75 on insurance? I might be.

Mine started at 180, now I pay 112, with full coverage. A friend of mine his dad has a SS and only pays $85 a month but he's 45 and never been in an accident. It just varies, u should just call and find out.

Mine is about 70 a month for my SS. But I get every discount that State Farm offers. Loyalty Discount, Multi-Line Discount, 9+ years Driving Experience Discount, Superior Driver Discount, Life Insurance Policy Discount, etc.... Just call around and make sure to ask what other discounts you might be eligible for.

I replaced a 2003 Infinit G35 coupe with my 2010 2SS/RS 6MT and my premiums went down $10 per renewal. Others reported the same thing on similar posts. In general at this point the SS does not look to be "way high" for premiums. Of course as others mentioned:

I'm in West Central Florida and pay $225 a month for both cars ... The thing that kills Florida is we get hurricanes so all insurance cost more ... Go figure, we haven't been hit where I'm at in over 20 years ...

29 years old, no tickets/accidents and when I added the 2SS/RS to our auto insurance it went up by $70 a month. Worth every penny if you ask me!

I pay $210 with progressive for full coverage on all three cars, $250 deductable. Not sure what it breaks down to on the SS alone but less than $100.
