$100 Dollars for shipping?????
I was looking at the Unrestricted Motorsports rear spoiler and the Phastek Comp Series Gen 1 Style Rear Deck Spoiler. But a $100 in shipping for a light peice of fiber glass or ABS plastic?

I'm seeing the AD's saying "Was $399.00 now 299.00 on sale! You save $100.00!!" So with a $100.00 shipping its really still $399.99

it can be that. but also...depends on size.. not really weight that much..
i sold my 1LS rims for 300....just rims no tires , sensors....shipping ALONE was 220$..... so yeah..thank god shipper paid for shipping but yeah. |

After looking for other similar spoilers from other sites I'm finding shipping in the $49.00 range. A little better, but still I'm thinking of stopping by a ups store a checking their rate quotes. I see this stunt being pulled on EBAY all the time. People who sell the exact same products as each other but with shipping all over the map.

L x W x H if those add up to over 5184 a product will get dim'd out. Divide 5184 or greater by 166 to get dim weight. If dim weight is higher than actual you pay dim.
Usually it is 70 to ship a spoiler. |

Ok i just saw a 4 piece Body kit and the shipping for "ALL" the parts was $89.00(FromCARiD.com) . So why is one spoiler a $100.00??

I shipped a hard fold up bed cover for a truck and shipping was $98....$100 shipping for a spoiler is redonkulous

Unrestricted's high shipping for that spoiler is a big reason that I'm shying away from buying it right now.

See if the seller will allow you to arrange for shipping; contact your own carrier of choice, negotiate your own rates and pay the shipper direct.
Be sure to add insurance and the correct dimensions as some carriers charge 'dimensional weight' irrespective of actual weight. Be sure to offer the seller a little extra for packaging since he has to pay someone to box it up as well as pay for the packaging materials. Or if the seller is close, go pick it up. |

its probably 100 for shipping & HANDLING, thats how they get away with charging more, because somebody has to pack it plus sometimes the packing material costs $$.
its like those ads on TV for something outrageous for only 12.99 + shipping&handling.
