If you really want to keep it like that, why not put standard bulbs back in and drill a hole into the rear of the housing and put a blue LED wired into a rocker switch with the grill backlight so you can control when it's on avoiding heat from the PO PO?

Hahahaha you definitely are going to get pulled over. I got pulled over for my LED sidemarkers from AAC last friday night.

Umm, because I closed my hood on my standard bulbs when I made the switch

I'm sure its illegal in NY. Most states require turn signals to be amber but I'm not sure about NY. But maybe if your run with the headlights on they'll blend enough so you wont get noticed too much. Until you need to turn that is
