50th Edition Radio Question. Need Answer ASAP Please
My dealer just replaced the radio in my 50th anniversary edition camaro. Was checking all the settings and ambient lights and noticed a white light coming from behind the radio on both sides projecting onto dash behind it. I don't remember seeing that before. Does anyone else have the white light? Its on left and right of radio.

Yes, this is a standard element of ambient interior lighting.
There is a small white LED behind the door handle that many don't notice for a long time either

There is an old thread on this. I think it is light leak from the screen. I ended up putting foam on both sides. I can't remember if that was for a rattle or the light leak. Anyway it is impossible to see the foam unless you make an effort, so easy fix.

It's not a leak. It's meant to be this way. There are LEDs in the back just to do that.
Perfectly normal, all 8in screens are doing this.

All 2SS trim Camaros have a standard white ambient light that emanates from the sides of the infotainment screen even with the color ambient lighting turn off.
