Checked my Air filter, Checked/cleaned my Throttle body, changed all the plugs just for good measure, did the fuse pull procedure - a few times. Changed fluid in rear differential.....
Had the car aligned, new pads and turned the rotors, wheels balanced again etc....

Good to note I did compression check it and had 185-180 on all 8 after 5 cranks, and 215 to 220 on all 8 after 7 cranks. Both were done while engine was warm... it sucked too and I have several burns to prove it.
Found a good deal on a few used bolt ons: -Kooks signature series stepped headers 1 3/4 to 1 7/8 Jet Hot coated with Cats. -ADM Race Intake -JRE scoop w/RotoFab relocate. I did a decent write up on the scoop and washer bottle.... it can be seen in another thread, but here are some pics. I also changed transmission fluid, added JRE dipstick and a newer "wide mouth" filter.... While I was doing Headers And OFF she came..... I also ordered a tune for the Headers, CAI and 91 octane (should have done 93 but I was worried about knock pulling timing causing my issue as well, so I wanted to play it safe and test.) It was nice being able to datalog......

Time to finish the MyLink, I had held off on this because of some of the other things I was working on.
I finally got smart enough to ask for the dealer to "Reprogram my BCM by calling the tech line" YAY, $125 and it all worked flawless.... controls worked for radio. From here I followed GEN5DIY instructions to the letter to get my MYLINK installed.... and EUREKA!! Everything works perfect.

Iv been sitting on my set LSA swap for over a year, family members keep needing money to borrow. But that all ends by the end of this month.
Cant wait to see your final results.

Fun write up! I'm very interested to hear what numbers you'll be putting down with your LSA supercharger and BTR Stage 3 cam because that's what I'm saving up to put on my A6 ABM. Are you on Blue Freedom ABM page on Facebook? There's a lot of other Aqua Blue owners on there.

Cam and Lifters.......boy am I glad to get these giant afm lifters out of there.
Yes I realize you can push them pretty far on the power range, and honestly I will probably still shift around 6200..... but with all 16 new LS7/LS3 style lifters along with the other upgrades....I will feel better about trying higher shift points for sure. Normal Vs AFM lifter... Attachment 855562
