drone help

I have stainless power LT headers, high flow cats at stainless works retro chambered cat back exhaust. when i just had the cat back, there was no drone, once i added the headers, the drone is bad.
does anyone else have this combination and fixed the drone? if so, how?
i've called custom exhaust places and even stainless works themselves and everyone says, anything they try would be a guess. j-pipes would work, but they would need to be a certain diameter, length and shape to work on my system. so i was wondering if anyone had my setup and fixed the drone.

thanks

Unfortunate, drone is a hard thing to fix and that exhaust does not have a lot of places to weld things in because its chambered pipes.

J pipes will fix it. Worked for me with stainless works. They are adjustable so not sure why certain length, shape, etc is an issue.

I didn’t have an issue until I added a cam and drone was horrible. Added jpipes and it wasn’t an issue anymore.

Jpipes helped out my situation as well. Length does matter depending on where you are getting drone. I was in the 18-2000 range.

I have SP headers with high flows as well, with Corsa catback. No drone in any rpm range.

called a couple of local custom exhaust shops and they both said that they wouldn't be able to help, as figuring out the exact length, diameter of pipe and overall shape of the J needed is all trial and error. none wanted to get involved

You can always add back stock cans...or there are a few quieter mufflers as some have suggested that "may" help. I know the Borla Touring is quite tame. But we all know drone isn't all about the muffler....but t might help.
Good luck.

Why don’t you just call solo and order them? You’re making this harder than it needs to be
