No idle, sounds like out of gas

After restoring my L99 engine on my Camaro 2012 SS I started up some days ago. Added 3 gallon of gas and run engine in my garage for about 20 minutes and some shorter starts and stops during lates days (no driving just running engine). I guess total of 40 minutes. Today then I started the engine there is no idle and I need to pump the pedal up and down then turning the key to start, and after start I need to hold 1000 rpm or more. Engine jumping like crazy and I get the same felling the getting out of gas, but fuel gauge says it's more gas in the tank. Easy as the no gas left or any other idea?

I was goingto replace fuel filter but have understand there is no filter to replace! It this correct? On my other cars it's placed under the floor.

No filter other than the sock on the fuel pump itself.

This along with you other problem you posted indicate that you have wiring issues after you rebuild. Likely something isn't tight or got burned on the headers.

Checked all wirings today, pulled the spar plugs wirings etc. Deleted all error codes and now all errors is gone but still have this starting/idle problem. This problem come today before the engine runs OK. Is 2 gallons in tank due to digital fuel gauge.

When’s she’s out of gas she’s out. You can’t maintain any rpm if there’s no gas. However it’s not a good idea to run tank low as it causes premature pump failure. Look for vacuum leak.

Sounds like the fuel pump or cracks in the lines. One time I replaced a fuel pump TWICE in a week before I realized I have a crack in my line at the fuel pump.
