2016 TPMS not working on 2010 Camaro?

I have a 2010 Camaro and I just bought take off wheels and tires from a 2016. No matter what I and my dealership does we can't get the car and the tpms to talk to each other.

We've tried the manual way with letting air go.
We've tried with the tpms relearning tool.
I've tried the method to get it in learn mode and drive for 15 minutes.

None of these worked.

Does anyone have advice for me to get it to work?

How in the hell does the dealer not know this?

I swear dealers have gotten stupider in the last five years…or lazier....

Every GM Tech has access to a hotline that they can call for more advice… Did they do that?

Don't toss the 2016 sensors, someone on here will buy them from you.

This. I just bought a set of 4 brand new for a second set of wheels. I would have bought a set on here for sure.

A tech gets paid 15 minutes to calibrate TPMS sensors. You want him to spend an hour on the phone with tech line to see if the used parts you brought in will work on your car? As a customer would you pay the $120 labor rate to have him do that and find out it won't work?
