How do you turn on the launch control on the Camaro?? Is it the same as the traction control button? |

I'll bet you could come up with an interesting definition of the dead pedal too.

I while back I asked this question too but dont think there is No-Lift Shift on any of the Camaro's trim levels. The reason for a No-Lift Shift is to keep up the boost up on a turbo when shifting. The Camaro doesn't have a turbo right now.
Also, doesn't the stability control brake in individual wheels to keep the car straight?

I hope the Camaro doesn't have no-lift-shift. It ruins the fun. Let me explain: You wouldn't be able to rev the car up while its moving, dump the clutch and drift around a corner.

I would think that the Camaro doesn't have no lift shift because it is for maintaining boost as stated above, but if it was, and if was like the cobalt ss, it would kick in at a set rpm, probably around 5500 rpm or so and set rpm to proper level for engaging clutch and it will only hold this for approximately 3/10 of a second if I remember correctly.

I was wrong actually. It has been confirmed that No Lift Shift IS on the Camaro.
