ok i got this envelope from chevy and it shows my order number and date the order was received. how do i track it and find the vin?! im getting impatient and want my car!

Yes I think impatients is getting you. The vin won't come till you order is pulled into production. It will probably be awhile, when did you order?

Talk to your dealer! He can get you the VIN as soon as the car is BUILT and can update you on it's progress until you get to that wonderful place.

You need to contact your dealer and get your actual production order number (not the one on the Camaro picture that came in the mail). That order number that came in the mail that also has the date you ordered the car, isn't your real production order number.

Your production order number can be used to track your car. You can call GM and get information on your car's status. But the best source for information about your car is your dealer.

Your dealer can give you a TPW (target production week). This is when your car is scheduled to be produced.
As mentioned, once your car is built, your car will be assigned a vin #.
