Hi CWI, I'm in Casper. There are several shops to check for a dyno -- Ace Hi-Performance Engines 235-6319, JTeam Custom Engines 237-0939 but I would try Rick's Rod Shop first - 237-7668.

Is your Camaro black? Did you get any stripes? LS3? I've been running around town with mine a little (black with silver rally) but only saw one other black camaro with no stripes. I believe it was the L99. I think there are about five camaros in Casper now, 3 black (one plain, one with red stripes, mine with silver + yours?), a yellow with black stripes, and a silver.

Be sure to check the colorado thread. Wyo owners have bonded with several from our neighbors and another rally is in the works. Plus a weekend at the High Plains Speedway for some autocross action the first weekend in August.

Wyocamaro is keeping a list of people interested in participating in rallys. Let him know if you want to be on the email list.

Hey guys just checking in with all of you guys. It is nice to see most of you guys have taken delivery of your cars. I live in Casper but I ordered my SIM 2ss from my friends is Powell. That turned out to be a mistake due to dealer allocation crap. I ordered mine on 10/17/08, and they are just picking up my order tomorrow. Anyway I was wondering how long it took from the dealer picking up the order to delivery. Any info would be appreciated. Good to know there are some of us from Wyoming on this site, and I would be more than willing to go for a cruise as soon as I get the car. Thanks guys.

6 to 8 weeks for the car to be built after order is picked up then up to 2 weeks for delivery if it doesnt end up in quality control

Your out of luck for a Dyno in Casper. Closest one would be on the front range.

I'll be looking for you Todd. Was going to give mine a run in Douglas this weekend too but paint shop won't release it yet. Paint still curing. I'm in Casper too. Whites as an ss SIM that a guy backed out of. It's on the lot now. Doesn't have leather, tho. Just thought I'd mention it in case you wanted yours quicker.

Yeah, I have run my truck quite a bit at Douglas. Kinda disappointing with that high of DA but still fun. I'm going to try to get my wife to run the Camaro in Time only. If I race it I will bracket race. There is supposed to be black 2SS going on saturday too. The Camaro is a 1SS Silver with soon to be black stripes- they get put on this Tuesday.

Iv'e searched high and low for a Dyno in Casper, if you find one let me know.

That's what I have is a Black 2SS/RS, LS3. Who's got the one coming to the tract? I know of three black camaros in Casper, mine, another 2ss owned by an accountant and a L99 auto that I don't know the owner.

So I bet I've seen you at the track if you've raced there before. What kind of truck? I'm sort of an idiot but I remember the cars more than the faces of the drivers.

It would be cool to see your wife drive it. I'll be pea green this weekend not having mine. Dang. My timing is always so messed up! They were supposed to have the car back to me today but I'm glad they are wanting to be cautous and have it right after all the grief I've had.

Pepper is an old hand at this and can fill you guys in at Douglas. Farther to Douglas for me than Bandimer, but maybe I'll have time to run up one weekend before snow flies. ON your order-I agree 6-8 weeks, assuming no QC. Good luck! If your impatient, Laramie GM has 6 more allocations and some on the way, so get your name on the list for a cancelation!
