JANNETTY RACING REMOTE TUNED CAMARO GOES 209.0 MPH AT TEXAS MILE

Congrats to our Remote tune customer Bill Powell for achieving a new personal best 209.0 MPH at the texas mile.

This was done on the second attemp, a screw in the tire prevented any further attempts but there is always next year.

2010 Camaro 429 Vortech YSI power.

Thank you for choosing JRE for all your performance parts and tuning.

Ted.

I could not have accomplished this without Ted's outstanding abilities as a tuner and his unequaled customer support.

I data logged my actual runs at the mile, emailed them to Ted, and he had tune tweaks back to me in time for my next run. Thanks Ted!

We actually accomplished four runs before the screw in the tire ended my weekend. All but one were above 200mph when my brother missed 5th-twice-That one was only 198mph.

Awesome. Congratulations to both you and Jannetty on this. Well deserved. I think the mile run is quickly becoming a great test of engines/tuning/power. To pour the coals to an engine for a mile and clear 209 mph is awesome.

Let us know more about the set up!!??? (Yeah right...like asking us to let us know your best fishing hole).

Good stuff.

No secret set-up, really pretty simple.

Stout engine:
LSX block, Manley crank, Callies rods, Ross pistons. GMPP LSX LS3 heads, CNC ported,
Jannetty rough idle blower cam.
Livernois did all the machine work, I did the assembly.

Squash return style fuel system,

Big boost:
Vortecn V7 YSI with cog drive. 23.5-24 lbs boost on last run.

Great Tune

Stock drive train with exception of a Street Slayer dual carbon clutch,
I'm running the autos 3.27 rear. Not sure how nothing has broken.
No meth or nitrous.

Nothing cosmic-just get in and go!

Absolutely killer build. 24 psi of boost is incredible. Congrats on the awesome run. Now you need to crack 210 MPH! Or better yet...215. Do what the horse racers do...get a 85 lb jockey to drive the car

Thank you all for the kind words.

We have a few more tricks up our sleeve that will achieve well past 210 I just need to convince him to get it done LOL

We already fabricated and sent the parts.

Ted.

I'm running the stock P-Zeros on the front, and have some 2013 ZL1 rears wheels with Toyo 888s on the back. Not best for straight line traction, but they have the required speed rating.
