Need help with 2011 Chevy Chair

Hi guys , for some reason I notice the button on my driver seat does not move back and the back rest does the same .

It can go forward not back
So I never try to move it back and forth I don’t it to be stuck and I am outta luck

What can I do or what I should replace ?

If the move to one side works good, I dare say there will be a faulty switch.

The move to the other side will be caused by the polarity reversal of the supply to the sliding motor.

First, I would look to see if any object that would fall under the seat prevents the movement.
....but you've probably already done that.

Then I would focus on the motion switcher itself.
Remove it, disassemble the connector, clean the contacts and see if it starts working.

If necessary, check the cabling for something visibly damaged or broken.

If everything is in order and the movement still does not work, I would buy a new switch.

I appreciate that
I know nothing much about cars but the basic of driving it . Do you perhaps have a link or know what that switch call so I can look for it just in case

Thank you for being helpful to me
Setting in the car with this issue has been uncomfortable.
