Men Chris that looks like some mean hp under your hood do you have any dyno charts? And what other mods are you doing can't wait to see your car in person. Maybe I should have P.M. you and let you know I was in Riverside today visiting my brother and stop to take a ride in your Camaro to feel what Vortech power feels like.

You should have, I did a whole lot of nothing yesterday.

The dyno Vortech uses tells a different story than most dynos, it put the car at 302 baseline & 420rwhp after install. Something about load bearing vs free spinning, makes sence.

I am going to go back to where I dynoed it before, the baseline was 358rwhp. Then I will post it up. Should come in around 480rwhp+!

Vortech just makes this car MORE awesome!

Dave - WOWDAMN

Matt - WOWDAMN

If this is what the Vortech did for Dave, What is it going to do for Matt's LS3?

Did I say, WOWDAMN

It's amazing to think; the Car is already Incredible, so does this make it "SUPER INCREDIBLE"?!?

To give you an idea, here are the number my LS3 put down from Vortech, remember the numbers appear low because Vortech uses a load bearing Mustang dyno for tuning purposes.

Stock:

325 rwhp @ 5950 (Dynojet corrected - 380 rwhp @ 5950)

311 rwtq @ 3900 (Dynojet corrected - 365 rwtq @ 3900)

Vortech S/C Installed:

428 rwhp @ 6500 (Dynojet corrected - 500 rwhp @ 6500)

383 rwtq @ 4800 (Dynojet corrected - 450 rwtq @ 4800)

100 Octane mixed in with 91 Octane for tuning purpose:

457 rwhp @ 6500 (Dynojet corrected - 535 rwhp @ 6500)

402 rwtq @ 4800 (Dynojet corrected - 472 rwhp @ 4800)

They had to add some 100 octane to my 91 because they thought it was knocking at first. So a little octane booster will add a bit of power

Overall I am very impressed with both the quality and driveability of this kit. I went through my first tank of gas, and I went from 18 mpg average on a whole tank to 13 mpg, but that's because I've been getting on it a lot I usually get around 240 to a tank, I only got about 200 this last tank, but I need to go through a couple more and get my driving habits back to what thye normall were to really see how much more gas (if any) I will be using. It sucks it down quick when you're boosting for sure, but when on the freeway cruising in 6th, it's not using any more than normal. And I love the sound of the bypass valve (read blow off valve)

Awesome Numbers

The Car really likes the Octane Boost, I added 5 gallons of 100 and filled with 91. She idled smooth and by the time I got half way thru the tank, she really wanted to run!!! I have also found that the fuel mileage is directly related to the weight of the right foot.

Congratulations on your "Super Incredible" Car...
