Your favorite detailing products/supplies!
I thought it would be cool to have a thread where everyone posts their favorite detailing products. This way people can just check this thread to see what good products are if they dont know better.
It might also be good if you were curious about a product youve seen but never tried it before. For formatting post the specific use of the product first, followed by the name, and optional provide the average price and how to get it. Bold the usage and name so people can find them easy. Feel free to add a short blurb of why you like it as well. I'll start! Tire Dressing - Black Magic Tire Wet - ~$6 (most auto stores) This is the overall longest lasting tire dressing Ive found for the price, lasts many uses too. Be careful though because if you apply too much it will fly all over your fenders. Wax - NXT tech Wax 2.0 - ~$15 (most auto stores) It buffs out pretty easily by hand. It provides a nice shine and really deepens the color of my black paint. Glaze - Turtle Wax Synthetic Ice Polish - ~$20 (target, auto stores, internet) Although they say its a polish it really isnt a true polish. What I love is that it provides similar effects to a polish and goes on and off REAL easy. You can apply this by hand in about 30 minutes and it leaves an amazing shine. It can also be applied to all the plastics and rubbers on the outside of your car and shines them up well. Interior Shine - Armor All Protectant - ~$4 (almost all auto stores) Works fine on the dashboard and buttons and such. Does a decent job and its extremely cheap and one bottle lasts a long time. I have a lot of great products and they are all great performers that serve me well. But some of my favorites are: Foamaster foam gun, Zaino Z10, Adams APC, Adams glass cleaner.

THE ONLY THING THAT IS GOOD IS ADAM'S. EVERYTHING ELSE (almost) = FAIL.

I agree. I haven't found a bad Adam's product. I really love their microfiber towels. They are super soft.

Adams FTW (Car Shampoo, Buttery Wax, FMP, VRT), although NXT comes in a close second for my favorite wax.

Rule I learned from another forum member:
If the towel scratches a blank cd it will scratch your clear coat! Always check before using. Oh, California Dusted - bad idea. Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk
