Yall got me looking at the Vararam pretty hard now. That was going to be my question, how hard are they to install? Any chopping or crazy modifications, or pretty strait forward install? Just was looking under my hood and couldn't imagine how it was tucked in, and wasn't sure. But probably the direction I will go.

i got the vararam it took about 30 min to install not hard at all and i like it.it seems like most people use the roto fab. my 95 formula had a slp firehawk hood and ram air set up that sealed to the bottom of the hood so i like grabbing COLD air.i miss that 4th gen but i only have so much room so i had to let i go to the next caretaker.it was everything i wanted

You are going to get a BAZILLION different answers. Choose the one that looks the best to you and also has a price that you can stomach. Good luck!

I got a PM requesting pics of the Vararam. Be warned: I just walked out to the parking lot and popped the hood. She's dirty. You've been warned.
You can see in the second pic the big empty spot where the OEM airbox was removed. I was hoping you could see the air scoop through the front grill, but you really cant. The air scoop slides over the radiator and under the hood rest structure to rest behind the grill. The air channel is routed directly into the throttle body. The harness is plug and play. No modding required, it was very straight forward. I believe the instructions said it was a 2 hour install, took me like 5. I was super cautious, and re-read each step like 5 times. lol. I recently just removed the air filter to clean it, as its been installed about a year now. No issues. I highly recommend.

The radiator will actually tilt a little bit towards the engine to make room for the scoop on the Vararam, but it's nothing major and it stays secure. I will try to get some pics posted early tomorrow of every aspect of it.

CIA arrived today! I must say. CIA makes a very good looking product. The tube is ceramic coated I believe. Feels very cold to the touch. Dropping my car off tomorrow to get my headers, cats, new spark plugs, ceramic coated spark wires, CIA cold air intake/ air scoop and dyno tuned..

I really like the Vararam. It added a little punch and a lot of throat.
