Best mod i've done were Drag radials. Last year I tried a few times and 4.5 was my best.

Swapped to 315-40-18 NT05R radials at 26 psi and first try was 4.1 in 45 degree weather with only a slight burnout.

I'm confident that 3.9 will happen in warm weather or a good burn out..

Wow, that manual really slows you down.

You manual guys should try driving the a8. That 1-2 shift at WOT renewed my faith in automatics.

Lighter wheels, sticky tires, #1 mod for quicker acceleration.

I've gotten 3.8 in my 4 cylinder automatic car with my race wheels on, and ghetto drag radials. No burn out. TC and Stabilitrack OFF.

The best 0-60 mod is the driver.

While very true with a stick, low 4’s can be had by my grandma in a A8 car with radials.

I would think the stock tires can obtain that from my butt dyno.

I have a sierra that does 4.9 and a mustang that did 4.6 once. The base camaro SS a8 I rented for a week felt like it was on a different planet then both of them in regards to 0-60. Maybe it was the 25k hard miles that broke it in or something. I would be in shock if just stomping on the gas of that car didn’t result in a 4.1 or lower.

I drive those 4.x cars all the time and launch them all the time so I feel like my butt is pretty well calibrated, camaro was so much faster. Actually had me wondering if it was faster than 3.9.

4.2-4.4 is what they normally 0-60 on stock runflats. It took lots of practice even with a A8 to hit 3.9 on stock tires. unless you are Jeff Lutz, I doubt you are hopping in a rental and pulling sub 4 second 0-60. better recalibrate the butt Dyno.

If you are using the dash 0-60 timer, it dosent factor in rollout. So whatever time you get on the dash your actual 0-60 will be about .2-.3 seconds faster.

I have a GTech Pro also, seems to be a close match to the onboard 0-60 and the GTech does have a programable roll-out. What is NOT close is the onboard 1/4 mile is way off compared to my GTech, the GTech is more believable. It is the GTech with GPS BTW.

nut shell the onboard does an OK job with time and MPH, does a poor job of length driven (tire slip) and time.

GTech is pretty much dead accurate compared to my actual timed 1/4 mile times.
