Looks like Motor Trend's drivers are better than Edmunds.. either that or that GPS testing meter Edmunds uses isn't very good...
I love what MT said about the V6, makes me glad I am getting it.!!! The stopping distiance for the V6 and the SS are almost identical.. must be the difference in the weight...

Did anyone take note of the fine print in Motortrend's test times for the SS manual? They were all done with the launch control on and the writer actually stated "We found, however, that in skilled hands the car is quicker when human-launched. "This baby has launch control" is a great bragging line, though."
The Edmund's review definitely seems unreliable, given GM's numbers and Motortrend's being on-par with each other. I was hoping for better skidpad #s though. Oh well, at least they're as good as a G35 coupe--not bad for a heavier car. Last edited by fldrummer; 03-20-2009 at 05:56 PM. |

What worries me is the subpar interior reviews, not so much the 0-60 time.

Lets have Dale Jr test the Camaro and his staff to see what numbers they have.
I think he is pretty good driver |

I too WAS worried about the interior of the Camaro.... until I sat in one. It's more of a personal preference thing. All I really cared to hear about were the numbers to see how far off they were from GM's. And I got the info that I needed. Relying on these reviewers to give me their opinions on the interior is about as useless as listening to a movie review. For example, no reviewer ever gave "Super Troopers" four stars, but that's my favorite movie. Just my .02

True, but Super Troopers didn't cost 38K, and you don't have to watch it everyday. Since I don't get to test my 0-60 legally all that often, the interior is pretty important.
