upgrade entire engine, or go forced induction?
Hey I'm wondering if I should spend my money on building the motor on my v6, or just save my money and get forced induction?

Adding two cylinders would be a good start.

I had a SIM V6 once.....then i upgraded to the 2SS/RS. Best decision I made. Plus their is more in the V8 market than the V6.....just saying. But to each his own. So do what u want.

If you are going to FI your V6 then you are going to have to upgrade the engine internals anyways.

Go FI. If you wanna stick to modding a six, go ahead. That's what I'm doing.
Don't worry about number of cylinders

Go FI with one of the new turbo or centrifugal superchargers, they add a lot of power to the V6

Neither. Save your money for a SS in the future.

Its hard not to be biased since I've had both a 2011 V6 and now a 2011 V8. I still lean toward the V8.
But since I'm a team player, if I had to choose, get some Twin Turbos.

Well I would of waited and gotten v8, but since I've already put 5k into my v6, I might as well keep it and mod the crap out of it.

Wow havent seen that many "get a v8" comments in awhile. He was asking opinions on how to mod his car. Not if he should get a new one... Personally I'm just trying to get as many of the mods as i can and stay na. I'd like to see how fun it can be that way. And then if im still not satisfied i could contemplate fi later. I enjoy taking the time to have fun with my car and mod along the way so theres something always exciting around the corner!

That's what I was leaning a little towards. I have a few mods that I can get very soon, definatly the cams as soon as they are on the market.

I plan on getting the cams and ported intake manifold over the summer when I have more money. Trifecta, drop springs, and sways are next for me as soon as I get my tax return back. Already got cai, headers, and exhaust. Honestly if you are doing all that I think you'll enjoy the car so much you wont be too concerned with FI. If not, well its always as option down the road!
