Are you (by any chance) Lieutenant Frank Bullitt? If so, I'm glad you got rid of the 'Stang...

The Z/28 ran a dry lap of almost 7:30.00 however since there is no video of that run they use the rain run instead which puts it in the high 7:30.00 second range.

I expect to eventually see a dry run with the Z/28 break the 7:30 barrier......

Turn your TC off and you will not have the issue. I don't when I get airborne at Autobahn CC. Granted it is not for 5 seconds, more like 1-2, but it happens.

The drag strip is like sniffing glue, it's cheap, it's a decent buzz, it doesn't last long and they are all the same.
Road racing is like China White Heroin, the buzz is stronger, the high lasts for hours, it's extremely addictive and they are all different.
I can't wait for my next
Track fix.

I read that we would all be driving Flying cars by year 2000 in Popular Mechanics back in the 60's. It's about time.

Damn it , I want it now so I can run me down some Z/28's when they "fly" by me while I'm losing power in mid-air.

guys, let's keep things in perspective. Z 28 was faster than the zl1 on a wet track. On a dry track, the Z28 is going to be much faster.

Could the ZL1 Benefit from this mode, most likely. don't get me wrong, I am actually considering purchasing a zl1, but the car is heavier than the z28.

It could be the z28 is leaving the ground more is due to the fact it is 400 lbs lighter than the ZL1. so maybe the ZL1 doesn't go airborne as much as the Z28.
