Love the spoiler. Gotta ask it that matte black? And if so did you just buy the fiber glass version and have it painted? or is it the CF version? I have really been thinking of getting the Anvil spoiler either in a gloss carbon or a gloss black. Just not sure how it would look with my matte black stripes.

Thank - you.

It is painted Matte Black. It was a carbon fiber version, bought it from a person on C5, who had to have his replaced due to UV damage. Since I was not worried about the carbon fiber, painting it was a great option. The matte black looks great once detailed with Adam's VRT on both the spoiler and stripes. The VRT works great on the stripes.

Updated front page listing, and signature. Just need to complete latest mod install and get a new signature photo.

Car is looking great. That spoiler is by far my favorite, but to hard to find you got lucky. How is the weather down there, we got 3 inches of snow this morning. Just when I thought it would be safe to pull my Camaro out for a weekend drive, Michigan slaps my dreams to the floor!

Thank - you, Yes, I did get lucky, right place at the right time asking the right questions. A friend in our Detroit 5th Gen club painted it for me. Total cost spoiler and paint, was less than a plain spoiler by itself. Bonus is my wife really likes this spoiler. I respect her opinion, but have told her I may not always go with it. In this case it was a win win.

Weather forecast changes every 6 hours.

Here is the latest.

Plan is to spend the day in the garage doing more polish and wax time, (rubbing on my mistress).

A week from today install the new rotors, pads, stainless steel lines and DOT 4 fluid.

Then the next day (Sunday) take her for a cruise and seat the brakes. If we get the rain storm they show between now and then to help further wash the streets of the TONS of salt they used this year.

Brakes are done....................I have installed the R1 rotors, Hawks pads, stainless steel lines and new racing fluid. It was a nice day in the garge with my friend Joe who came over to give me a hand..................We were able to cycle the ABS system to pump out the old fluid and drop in almost 2 pints of new fluid. Went for a quick burnishing of the system. Should be good to go for a long time now............

Thanks John, weight, let's see that new battery will drop 27 lbs. the skinnies up front will drop another 40 lbs. minimum. Pull the rear seat and passanger seat, another 78 lbs. remove the trunk mat, carpet, amp, should save another 20 lbs. empty the glove box, another 2 lbs. take out the wiper bottle and remove the wiper blades, another 5 lbs. Driver weight drop 150 lbs. If I go crazy could be down a total of 322 lbs. hmmmmmm...........do I go all out.

By the numbers get me a good day and traction that could net a 13.34. ........oh the thought of doing all that for one day........

Thank - you, trust me I know, and I am actually thinking about doing it too.

Brake fluid came from Ebay. Bought a 3 pint pack, really only needed 2, but I wanted to REALLY make sure I had enough. The one thing you will need if you go for it is a helper, and a tool to cycle the ABS system so you can get that fluid too. I had help from my good friend Joe. We were able to cycle it all.
