Third Brake Light Wiring - 2010 SS & ZL1 Spoiler
Open to suggestions. I want to make sure I have a game plan before popping off my interior panels, etc.
I have a 2010 Camaro SS with a ZL1 spoiler. I’m wanting to wire the new third brake light while disconnecting my OEM third brake light. My new light has two wires coming from it—red and white—with no plug. If it had a plug, I’d go with the harness. Anyways, which wires (red/white) from the new third brake light do I connect to the existing wires before the connector inside the passenger rear interior panels? Thanks!

Well I am sure you can find via search somewhere the simple splice in to make the brake light work on my zl1 spoiler I kept both working and it came with directions but its pretty much splice and go and if you wanted to disable the stock one it would be taking it out of the loop. I imagine gen5diy.com may have it.........
Frankly mine I bought off Ebay was pre-painted great and just had the two wires and with a rear louver I like having both lights its not bad to have more light...... https://www.bing.com/search?q=wiring...1Fnc8yr1gHbTSB look here

Instead of splicing, can I just buy the male/female connector/plug and add that to the end of my two wires? That way I can just connect it to the existing connector.
Please let me know if that's possible and where I can get the plug. I'll continue to search, but figured I'd send this out in case someone already has knowledge on the subject.
