^^My God, it really does look like a Prelude... when I first saw it, I said "it reminds me of something"... but for the life of me, couldn't think of what.. when you said Prelude, it hit me like a freight train.

It's supposed to be a throwback to the later Camaros and other cars of the day.. It's still a GM looking lamp configuration... It just (for me) doesn't flow with this particular configuration...

When you spend some time in person with the new look I am betting most current owners will come to see the car as many of us that were at the unveil.

Tom is amazing. He loves the 5th Gen as much as the most avid 5th Gen owner. The restyle brings to the showroom a number of styling cues they would have liked to include on the original. After speaking with Tom I am incredibly confident that the 6th Gen will take the Camaro to a new level of excellence. I wish everyone could have attended the debut and met with the Camaro TEAM. It was a great experience and I am grateful to have been included.
I am glad Tom is a nice guy, but I disagree with your view completely. The front fascia is significantly different, and alot of people (not nearly all, but alot), like it. People dont seem to have to get used to the front (in general). Very few people seem to like the new rear fascia. Alot hate it. Some think it is OK but not as good as the previous. Some say it will grow on them (which I really think means they dont like it but will learn to live with it because they like Camaros), and a relatively small percentage like it better.

I think they just messed up. People like the older rear better. To most people it is just a better style. Why does Tom think people want their car blacked out halfway up with a diffuser? It doesn't look good on the C7 Corvette and it doesnt look good on the refresh 5th Gen Camaro either.

First sight I hated the new taillights. I still don't care for them, but they are growing on me...they shouldn't have changed them that much. And the definitely shouldn't have had them wrap around on the quarter panels as they do...

Hate the tailights...really, seriously hate em.... hate the diffuser too. Not fond of the extractor in the hood although I don't *hate* it.... really not liking the absence of mailslot... I like my knight rider style scanner.

I do really like the new bumper ports for the driving lights... I got T3 ports for my 2013 cause I liked the square look better than round. Overall though, thumbs down on everything except the DRL ports. I am glad I traded this year on a 2013 instead of waiting for the 2014.

GM had this rear end refresh designed way back before the 2010 models came out. Look how the 2013 bumper fills in where the lights wrap around on the 2014. They planned to upgrade to the 1969 style lights from the beginning!

I don't hate the new rear end....actually I might like it some....but not more than the old rear end....especially when modified.

Glad I got my 45th. Don't care for the rear at all. First thing I thought before I saw this thread.
