17" Drag Radials

I currently have Mickey Street ET Rs in 17" 305/45/17 to keep the 28" diameter so I can keep my factory 20s up front. It's almost time for a new set. The Mickey's have served me well and I don't need to change but looking at other options. Unfortunately it doesn't look like Hoosier makes anything without going to a slick? Anything else you're finding that stick better than Mickey's? Currently running 10.5s with a best of 1.55 60'.

Nitto NT05R? I had them in 315/35r20 and they were good. Idk if they come in 17", but as far as the tires itself I loved them

Thanks for the feedback. I had NT05R before but they wouldn't hold the power level I'm at.

Just park it outside, the problem will take care of itself.

Talked to a local speed shop Friday, they quoted me a 28" Hoosier. I'll have to find it and will post what it was. From memory it was a Dot tire(barely) 28"x10.5.

That would be awesome if you could find it. The Hoosier shop I called wasn't overly helpful.

Looks like the Hoosier 18825DBR tire. It's a radial slick. 28" overall diameter. I'm thinking this should be fine with the factory fronts I run.

It's actually the new 17" Quick time pro, if I remember right they told me it was a bias Dot tire. Link below should help.

Awesome thanks. I'll take a peek. I can't run bias ply with Radials in the front. Not quite ready for skinnies yet I don't think.

I know some say don't run radials with bias, but I run a MH 325/45/17 radial out back and skinny bias up front and doesn't seem to bother anything. Drive it about 35-45 minutes to the track on the hi-way and around town. Might be something else with radials up front on stock 20's though.

11.4 @ 118, 1.5 60'
NA, SBE No weight reduction other than Welds with skinnies.
Having some tune issues with the car shifting into 5th around 110 MPH and got some air flow problems worked out this winter. Get the shifts dialed in and should be capable of high 10's when I get back out this year.
