Which CAI should I get?

Hey everyone, I know this question is a lot on personal opinions, but just want to know yalls recommendations. I really wanted to get a CAI by cold air inductions, but I cant seem to find a used one (Im kinda cheap, but Ill resort to buying a new one if they make much of a difference). So I was thinking about going with a rotofab intake my buddy got. But I also heard a lot about volant intake being really good. Sound is kinda important for me but im really looking for the performance gains. I got a custom tune, ported Tb, resonated x pipe, Jacfab ported intake manifold thatll be arriving tuesday. Ill be doing the WW delete, and going back to Phil at Tampa Tuning retune after the intake. So which one do you guys think I should get?

They're all good if you have the air scoop and washer bottle relocation.

If not Roto Fab, Vararam VR DRX, in my experience, the Vararam offers the most gains,

R2C intake is a great buy and do some research, other intake manufacturers would not do a head to head competition with it.

I was in the same boat as you but was fortunate to find a used CAI for about half the price of a new one. Once i had it installed and realized that I liked it, I purchased a new one from RDP. No real difference between the 2 ... just in my mind. I was torn between the RotoFab and CAI but just like the looks better even though it cost a little more. Nothing against VaraRam either. I've heard that it's more effective if moving (duh) and is a little more involved to install. Regardless, I'm happy with the way the CAI sounds and performs.

Hey Sir

Personally i would go with the Rotofab unit as its made from injection moulded plastic and will not put heat into the airstream where as the cai unit is steel, both units work well but the rotofab has the edge with the heat, if you decide you want a new unit pm me and i will hook you up with a promo code sir

Thanks Dynosteve

Op CAI is popular because of a test done years ago here....your options are alot better now....Roto fab....Z/28 cai. Pick what you like ....there isnt huge gains to be had by picking one over the other.
