I did the same as above. Just a basic bracket and 4 good zip ties and finished off with a tinted cover. Still waiting for my personalized plates.

Fight the ticket.

Ask the judge why you need a front plate and motorcycles dont?

If they tell you its because its the law, ask them why is it law? Why doesnt it apply to both types of vehicle?

If you lose with a good explanation, then get the front plate put on.

Do as I did and I’m a Cali guy as well. I went to the dollar store and bought a package of 12 suction cups for $1....that’s the fix, then stick it to your windshield center or passenger side and done.

I would snap a close up/better pics but I’m not with my camaro right now. This just gives you an idea of what I’m talking about. You can see the plate when the hood is open as well.

You can still be issued a citation for this. Law states that front plate must be on the outer most front portion of the vehicle.
