The radiator neck/cap position only has an effect on the Vararam OTR CAI, not the new DRX intake.

There is a guy on here with a 2011 SS that has one installed.

I am assuming Vararam won't outright admit that it works on 2010/2011 cars so they don't cannibalize their sales of the original Vararam for 2010/2011.

Sound logic right there.

Good choice buddy! I had the CAI initially and after seeing Ted's test, I too ordered the Rotofab windshield washer relocation and JRE race scoop from him. Installation wasn't too bad either! Kind of a tight fit with the new windshield wash bottle but we got it. Very pleased with the result. I painted my scoop black as people have mentioned you'll notice the bright silver through the bottom grill if not. If you look at my build thread in my sig I believe on the second page there is some pictures of my installation of it. Good luck and enjoy!

What do you suggest for the 2017 ZL1 (in California )?
Also, will I get a free tune with it?
Shopping now/Ready to buy. Any help is appreciated.

Congrats on the 2017 ZL-1.

This is Camaro5, and this thread it geared toward 2010-2015 Models.

I suspect the search feature led you here as the 2 boards are tied together.

I have done a lot of testing on the 2016-2017 models as well results are posted over on Camaro6.

The Rotofab has proven to be a great upgrade, You must purchase a tuning solution from me as well to qualify for the FREE Custom tuning.

For the 2017 it would be HPtuners which I have in stock.

Thank you for your interest in JRE performance products.

Ted.

I have not specifically run a test on a stock Gen5 camaro with your new design.
