Need more cubes for what? The extra weight in the engine? A TT v-6 can easily put out over 400hp with less weight & the same gas mileage! I'm all for that. Not that it's going to happen.

I agree that less weight is better. But, for a high output Z28, we are going to need more than 425hp. That won't cut it.

I have to admit -- the Idea of GM putting a v6 in the Z28... I mean it *is* TT and it definitely makes the car more modern, but its the Z28...you would expect it to have a V8 in it..

I dunno. I'm torn (and I OWN a v6)...

Is Jay hinting towards the look of a Z or performance? Still thinking that GM wants, and should, compete directly with the GT500... and that would be tough to do with a TTV6. Put that same combination on a 6.2L and then see what happens. Interesting times and looking forward to what the Dream Team in the Camaro Garage come up with

Thought it was funny that Jay said the Camaro is built here in America... I guess Canada is in North America... but not quite the US.

I think what would be great is if there was a race series to go along with the z28. The original had to be under 305 ci. Darn, i wish there was a real "stock" series.
Did you see Jay sitting in it? They must have had the seat all the way down.
I also loved the spoiler on that car, and the white Camaro in the background.

Exactly! If you guys think/want GM to release the z/28 with about 120 horses less the the CURRENT(note i said current; who knows what ford has in store for the gt500 in 2011) gt500, and your crazy! We need BIGGER numbers then the mustangs are putting out if we wanna compete with their light weight.

I have nothing against the TT idea though. In fact I love the TT vs supercharger idea. Throw those turbos on a V8 though!!!

Unless they forge the heck out of that V6 and allow a LOT of "growing" room I'm not interested. I will admit that a twin turbo V6 can be a potent vehicle if built correctly. If it comes from the factory at its power limit then it's a waste in my mind. If you can throw some more boost at it safely then it has a lot more potential and it is more valuable, in my mind.

AHAHA u see Ed's face at 3:28, and 4:39 lmao. friggen guys know something seriously.

perosnaly i think were looking at the z28. we might not get the lsa we want. he also keeps saying more than 400hp, how much more jay? and what number for torque we looken at.

regardless i want to see these test videos he does with them. a TT v6 should sound like a freaken jet. hopefully they got some nice BOV on those turbos so we can hear em.
