Had a great time spending the day with family and friends out at Omega Motorsport's No Fly Zone Arizona 1/2 mile roll racing event yesterday. Coincidentally it was my birthday, so couldn't ask for a better present then this. There were some awesome cars out there, including a 2000hp Lambo that went 227mph. My buddy ran his turbo Kawasaki ZX-12 and went 209mph. I ran a personal best of 159.5mph, which was just 1/2 mph short of my goal to hit 160. Here's a video of my first run of the day against a Hellcat. I went 155.9mph this pass.

Nice. My buddy Hutch went 190 in his CTSV and friend Abdul went 198mph in his c6 corvette.

I have to get back out and do some 193-194s when I get a chance. Blew through clutch at the october one.

690hp 677tq with 10lb springs. When I ran the Hellcat I had my 8 1/2lb springs in. While tuning the car, 10lb springs were registering 11 to 11 1/2lbs of boost so I wanted to dial it back a little.

There were a lot of fast Corvettes and CTS-V's out there. Was a fun day for sure. Not so much for the Z06 owner that went off track into the desert. Fortunately he was okay. I'm a far from going 190+, but I will get there one day. Maybe I'll see you at the next event.

Looks fun. Hope to try that some day. Just curious, how many run do you get on a tank of gas with the gas pedal floored for a straight half mile.

I did about 14 passes and used almost half a tank.

oh man I watched the video with the supercharged mustang and at first he was right with you for like 200ft maybe and then those turbos hit and boom! You were gone. Looks very exciting and fun.
