Hi, I am thinking about doing the ZL1 Brake upgrade, I am just starting to put together a list of things, what are some good options as far as Rotors go?
I want to keep a 2 Piece in the front but not finding a lot of 2 piece rear options, DBA says they don't offer it because of parking brake issues.
I like the look of the Slotted/Drilled rotors but am not making that a requirement.
What are your guys thoughts, Car will see track days here and there but that is not it's primary use.
I am thinking I would use factory pads.

Below I believe are the parts I would need Besides calipers and Rotors, I have the Goodrich ZL1 Braided lines already, Are the Banjo bolts the same between SS/ZL1?

I can Modify the SS Dust shields in the front to work with ZL1 Fronts since this part is hard to find?

4. ZL1 brake rotors. Or after market.

I went with the DBA rotors and pads from KNS and I really like them. I have not had the opportunity to do a track day with them though I can tell you that they work fine at triple digit speeds.

+1 for KNS. Ken talked me OUT of overspending when I was doing the rear brakes on my track C5 Z06. I'm using DBA rotors and Carbotech pads. Give KNS a call.

You can get 2 piece DBA rotors front and rear for the ZL1 Fronts and SS/ZL1 Rears.

Leo I called them and they told me they never offered 2 piece rear because of E Brake. Do you have a link?

Olblue75 I saw that they Are not cheap that's for sure, I was speaking with Baer and they said they were thinking of making Fronts then Covid hit and everything stopped if they did I would get front and rears from them.

Are the Banjo bolts the same between the SS and the ZL1 Calipers? When I added the ZL1 Goodrich lines I forget which bolts I used. GM Parts break down is no help.

I am guessing it would be obvious where the Heat shields need to be trimmed?

Dust Shields Ordered from a salvage place, Now only needing calipers and rotors. I may make a post about colors, CTSV There are quite a few options and not sure what will look best with Ashen Grey.
