I’ll definitely be doing this mod real soon. i Need to replace my oil pump and would like to replace the oil pan gasket as well So I don’t run the chance of having a leak. Plus it would be a good idea to clean out oil pan and check the screen on the oil pump pick-up tube.

to clear the steering rack- I just remove the motor mount bolts, jack the engine up an inch from underneath, then slip a couple of 3/4" wood shims between the motor mount and sub frame.
