I got my VIN or Thursdayfor my 2LT IBM and CG stripes. I'm guessing the stripes will take about a week more before the car hits the tracks. Does anyone know if stripes add additional time? Time keeps on tickin...

I got my vin for my 2LT Black w/stripes.... Produced 5/19....Shipped 5/27... Held up because of stripes... it sure did take away from my shipping time

. But oh well, it flew by... the hard part is when you can call CSX/UP

Slooowwwly doing body mods in small steps now. Got vinyl inserts for the bowties, added SS emblems on the sides and last night I painted the tail light bezels charcoal metallic gray. The color on the lid of the can looked darker than they turned out though so I may go darker still.

Yes I am. I have an MPD-1 spoiler on order and when that arrives I'm going to get Sunoco yellow hood spears but as outlines instead of a solid fill, and Probably a stripe across the top of the spoiler. I'm looking at some other ideas too but I'm being very cautious on what I do so I don't screw up the beauty of this car.

I am considering going with a stripe color that is very close to IBM that tapers off at the top of the cowl into a ghost flame. Something nice and subtle but still noticable when you look at it close. What do you guys / gals think?

Ok I'm tearing my hair out here. I'm trying to find the post with the pics of the IBM infront of that large Coke sign. The sign is painted on the side of the building and the car is parked at the curb. I've looked through every page of this thread because I thought it was here. Does anyone know where they are?

Could be interesting if done right. Here's a couple images of methane flames:

This would be an interesting effect if you start the bright blue at the front and have it "flame out" at the end near the windshield:
