Woohoo... Those are some well traveled wheels and tires...so, does the tape residue on the tread increase traction???

I've seen that carbon fiber VIS hood with the 6 vents in person on a friend's car. I was NOT impressed with the fit. The gap where it meets the front facia is too wide and you can see the hardware through the gap.

It is this kind of fitment issue that has stopped me from getting an after-market hood.

i wonder if it was just installed wrong... has anyone else seen this hood be a PITA... I saw a few in another thread that did a group buy and they said it was a perfect fit. hmmmmmmmmmm

grrrrrr..... no, the car will not be done... just a few days shy i am thinking. I cant just pop in either... considering it is a 4.5 hour drive

by the way you posed your question... i am guessing you will be there?

I think I will be at the June 8th event though. 8th Annual Michigan FBody Meet & Greet Car Show

I think speedster has that same CF hood. I'd ask him how the fitment is. He is someone I'd trust to be a good judge of such things.

A friend of mine took a stock hood and did this to it... We're going to do the same thing (the vents) for my car.
