**UPDATE**Droppin tranny at a stealership

so to drop a tranny at a local stealership(New Rochelle Chevrolet NY) its $1250
just to see whats wrong on a car that barely has 2k miles.

They told me if I would have bought the car there they would have given me a discount I guess it doesnt matter that we have spent easily over 100k over the years.

It other news found another dealership thats fixing all my issue ive been having for months under warranty no questions asked will update soon!

Your sig shows you have a 2015. Why would they charge you, it's still under warranty. Even if you did not buy from them and they are a chevy stealership. Are you tuned or what's the story.

long story short bought this car and after about 1k miles started having transmission and clutch problems. Took it to several dealerships and none would want to touch it even though its brand new. Months later come today its gotten so bad that I cant drive it at all' clutch pedal doesn't return when engaged it returns 2 seconds later. so visited New Rochelle chevy they finally said they would take a look at it if I was willing to pay 1250 since cheap'o Chevy doesnt warranty clutches.

Clutches are under warranty for 12 months or 12,000miles from the factory.

The brakes on my truck were warrantied for the first 10k miles only. I think all items on our cars are covered for some length of time, its just a matter of how long, even the consumables.

Get another opinion, they may just be looking at dollar signs when they see you after dropping 100k.....

this, and this again, and this a whole lot. It is full warranty on this car. Any mention of costing you a dollar would in tell a throat punch to such person.

GM is aware of my thread and they know they have a big problem on their hands. Mine was a bad clutch and Balue's was needing a vented reservoir cap. Go drive your car and get the pedal to not return. Dont bring the pedal back up leave it where it is then remove your cap if the pedal returns then its your cap if not then probably your clutch.

Wow, I'd be absolutely ticked with that dealership. Can you get that flag removed?

yeah I dont know how these flags work but im guessing its gone now since the clutch is being fixed under warranty regardless just seems like a dick move on their part for trying to discredit me with other dealers.

Paul Masse is where I got mine they specialize in Corvettes and Camaro's they are known as a performance friendly dealer. They have whole separate building for them and a small collection of collectible cars.
